Too often nonprofits are trapped in a cycle of starvation without the resources, tools, or training to continue to advance their critical missions. Capacity Blueprint is part of the solution in helping break that cycle and creating paths that allow organizations to focus on the work that they do best.

Meet David
David Byrd, MNA
Senior Advisor
David is the Senior Advisor and co-founder of Capacity Blueprint. He has a Masters of Nonprofit Administration (MNA) from the University of San Francisco and is a graduate of Connecticut College, where he earned a degree in Economics. He has a certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSources as well as a Certificate of Financial Success for Nonprofits from Cornell University.
A grant writer for 13 years, David has worked and consulted for numerous organizations to help secure nearly $60 million for vital programs and services through numerous county, city and federal grants as well through private foundation funding. He has extensive experience in healthcare, human services, and educational organizations. David volunteers for the YMCA Stonestown Board of Managers, the MNA Advisory Board at USF, and for ShapeUp San Francisco’s Capacity Building Action Team and Steering Committee.
